Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted July 13, 2021 Journalists Share Posted July 13, 2021 Race 8 – SIMS BAKERY 1600mHILLERSDEN (C Jones) – Trainer Mr D Crozier advised Stewards, that on Friday 9 July, HILLERSDEN, underwent a veterinary examination which included endoscopic examination and blood tests with results showing the gelding’s heart rate to be back to normal, and results of the blood tests showing signs of HILLERSDEN tying up. D Crozier further advised; it is his intention to continue on with the gelding’s current preparation. Race 9 TREMBATH PLUMBING 1600mATHENE (L Allpress) – Trainer Ms T Rae reported to Stewards, ATHENE, was examined by the veterinarian upon return to the stable, with the mare requiring stitches to the right hind leg. T Rae further advised, ATHENE, has been placed on antibiotics and will not participate in any form of exercise over the next three to four weeks.
