Yankiwi
A Steward has again proven they simply don't know what they are doing. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/14676/stewards-report.aspx The 3rd offence is supposed to be referred to the JCA which doesn't exist anymore (but have been referring to the RIB in its absence). The Stewards have no right in applying the $150 fine for the 3rd offence. The $150 fine is meant to be applied to a 2nd offence. Guest CrossCodes
Also check out the run of Allegro Bryan yesterday, how it didn’t get put again I’m not sure, in the right kennel I suppose. The dog hasn’t chased hard, and turned to other dogs almost every start it has had. Are they waiting till it completely attacks until they put him out for good? aquaman
Re the RIU Charles, no credibility, they lost that long ago, about the time they were leaving dead bodies in motels. As for the rules, just make them up as you go is the motto.
Yankiwi
Race #6 Addington yesterday. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/14693/stewards-report.aspx NONILLION (6) - glanced outwards momentarily then checked by HOMEBUSH ICE on two occasions early stages. Handler A McCook was shown the films with a warning being placed on the Racing Manners record of NONILLION. HOMEBUSH ICE (8) - ran inwards sharply early stages tightening SOZIN'S PRINCESS and checking NONILLION on two occasions. Tightened on bend losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stewards deemed this performance unsatisfactory with HOMEBUSH ICE having to complete a Satisfactory Trial. #8 FTP looksie straight out of the boxes. #6 turning for a FTP kissy kiss a stride later. #8 marring #6 shortly after. Even after the mar, the #8 wants more. So what the hell is a warning & unsatisfactory performance got to do with this race. Seems to be some very Quirky decisions being handed down.... Yankiwi
It's not what has been done, it's who's done it. Sound familiar? 5 breaches of the same rule on the same day. Breach #1 $150.00 (minor infringement table) Breach #2 $150.00 (minor infringement table) Breach #3 $150.00 (minor infringement table) Breach #4 $100.00 (RIB ruling) Breach #5 $100.00 (RIB ruling) https://racingintegrityboard.org.nz/decisions/non-raceday-inquiry-written-decision-dated-28-september-2021-john-mcinerney/
