Survived, Son of Zac

I knew Son of Zac had met an untimely end,  based as I am at the same track as his former trainers.....very sad,  a lovely progressive galloper with so much still to offer - and  the Hughes stable/staff all looking forward to watching him compete in the bigger arena.

But what happened to Survived?

He broke down during the race Freda, badly, he stayed on his feet but it was horrible.....he put in a shocking run the race previous, shocking, he may have tried to tell them something, but no one was listening.

Very sad, I too was looking  forward to seeing zac race in Australia, certainly didn't see that coming and really feel for the connections of both horses , certainly  nothing a given in this game, celebrate the success, and also those times when your charge returns unscathed
