Have the whip rules been changed??

Just looking at Chris Dell's use of the whip in the final stages of R8 at Awapuni yesterday on Zola Express. Nothing at all in the Stewards Report.

638(3)(g)   Subject to the other requirements this Rule 638(3), in a Flat Race or trial (including jump-outs and/or tests for certification purposes), a Rider must not:

Didn't Opie get a suspension for doing so at Ellerslie

You might be right ATA but I only had a quick look and missed the consecutive strikes.
