Hot to Trot was young Nathan today with 5 wins in a row while in the 'Groove' . a nice day at the office.

SAND WAVE looks the pick of them , and had the fastest time, with another solid win. Are they getting slower at Winton than they used to. ?

or a drivers 'sitting in' to very late in the race or something. ? looks very slow sectional times in a few races today.

I think the problems of driving tactics in Southland haven't really changed much. Certain drivers with the right horse will challenge and make a race of it. For many of the others it's simply a procession at leisurely pace until the home straight. At times, very disappointing.
