Guest CrossCodes
That would have to be one of the worst cases of marring I have ever seen. And going by the commentators comments before the race it was almost expected given what he saw in the qualifying trial. So how did this dog even qualify given it was suspect in its trial, and who was the Stipe that let the dog even qualify? Also Robin Wales needs to give himself an uppercut given he clearly knew the dog was a cheat, but chose to line it up anyway. A terrible look all round and hopefully the dog it attacked wants to still be a racedog. Disgraceful.
aquaman
I feared they were going to crash into the 295 boxes. Agree connections new, Stipe new, commentator new, just the mug punter kept out of the loop. I would of been hot if i owned the victim dog. RIB only good for sitting in tree's. Guest CrossCodes
And again today takes another dog completely off the track, in yet another terrible display of marring. Robin Wales obvious sent this dog to the McInerney kennel for one reason, and we all know why...... Hopefully he will now retire the dog, for the sake at least of other dogs it races against. It should have never been tried again after always looking like a cheat, but greed won out. Shame on you Mr Wales
aquaman
Fortunately it was a Macinerny runner.
Yankiwi
So Mr R Quirk and/or Mr D Wadley do not believe that the #4 (Oliviero) either failed to pursue or marred in this race, they chose to simply write in down somewhere. (Performance noted)? So, what is performance noted? What good is noting performance? This race will have no bearing on any races this dog runs in the future. If they charge this dog for an infraction in another race, this race will play no part in that hearing. What does the "I" in RIB stand for again? In this case the "I" stands for ignorance. The Stewards are making shit up as they go along. Noting performance does not appear in the rulebook. Effectively they have threatened the dog empty words. aquaman
Agree completely Yankiwi. They just make things up from copying others. The other beauty that they come out with is asking trainers to explain improved performance or bad whichever they are looking at. What a stupid question to pose. Are they not looking at the race that they have to have the trainer explain why a dog did this or that. They have all the visual aids, trainers do not. If I was asked that question by the Stipes as to why a dog id this or that I would say, ask the dog. Just thick really.
Yankiwi
Still making it up in Palmy today. BOUDICCA (1) - Stewards queried the performance of this greyhound with trainer Mr. M Goodier when turning her head outwards shortly after the start, without making muzzle contact, easing or failing to pursue the lure. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a very subtle limp in the right front leg which was unable to be localized, with a 5 day incapacitation issued, not withstanding that and after considering the submissions tendered by Mr. Goodier, and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory, and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule 132A(1). Yes Yes No
You need to read the new rules
Yankiwi
14 hours ago, Yes Yes No said: You need to read the new rules Oh yes, my mistake. The 1st of Feb has arrived. The new and improved GRNZ rule designed to cater for dog that don't chase the lure has begun. Now only dogs that cause other dogs to either bleed or be run off the track will be charged. Got it.
