The Centaur
We were promised all the details of the deal when the Minister "approved it". NZTR also promised us details June 15. So far NZTR idea of information on the deal is to get intoxicated with the cash and tell us where they a going to throw it about. So far the required information is shockingly lacking. With sport taking over Trackside NZTR have squandered millions by not getting in on the deal. All together a massive con. Yes good question about the company registrations. Answers are needed. Special Agent
Why do people have to be so deceitful and devious? Authorities wonder why we are skeptical. Even the minor point of Sam Moncurs signature on a public holiday. Who does that? Do you think there is any significance of Anzac Day for a trans Tasman deal? Thanks for pointing those dates out to the world Chief. It really shows our racing authorities up for what they are. Pick an adjective ... deluded, naive, halfwitted, shady .... I know we should look forwards and not live in the past but, I can't help think of what racing men of bygone days would think. I've spoken to many racing participants over the years and there are a great deal of them at the crying stage right now at what this once magnificent industry has become. It was announced in March that Entain were the preferred partner subject to negotiation and Ministerial Approval. The TAB went secret squirrel after that March announcement. The Ministerial Approval was announced 23 May 2023.

TABNZ CEO took over on 1 June. Very little was forthcoming from NZTR until the latter part of June. Where did the extra $30m come from? Grant Robertson's printing machine?
