Successful over some 45 + plus years , he originally joined forces with his father Bruce who trained the mighty Il Tempo and Sindicato among others .Bruce had been a butcher before moving into public training in partnership with  son Robert and they trained the outstanding Red Tempo. Robert trained many fine horses by himself including Hill Of Grace and Buzz Lightyear. Thoughts go out to his family at this sad time !
