  1. Not in the same league as his predecessors. Runs laterally too much better suited to Fullback.

    St Arnaud, Lake Rotoiti.
  3. Well many would argue it's here. I did like the description by stealth.
  4. Less in my opinion. No point reminiscing unless it helps to turn things around by providing real solutions to the crisis that is creeping upon us.
  5. @Yankiwi your list of apologies due is growing. Trainers Stewards GRNZ Feel free to post them here.
  6. Chazza - it IS a safety rail that you have posted.
  7. Big Time Taniwha was nominated for Cambridge at 10:00am. BT Taniwha then raced at Whanganui that night 16 August 2024. It wasn't deceased on 15 August as you infer. Race 7 https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/16017/result-detail.aspx
  8. Chazza there have been multiple instances recently where you have either deliberately made "shyte up" or you got it completely wrong.
  9. Spinning and running laterally rather than straight?
  10. Yes. But there has been an issue in the past with the Content Delivery platform that the TAB works on. Clear your cache for the TAB site and see how you go.
  11. I know some might say I'm drawing some long bows here. But hasn't the strength of NZ Racing been its diversity? Has that diversity produced quality horses that can compete in the most pressured racing environments anywhere? I won't mention Rough Habit, the Veandercross, Sunline as that would be reminiscing a bit too far back. How about Verry Elleegant - didn't she win her maiden at Ruakaka? Imperatriz won her maiden at Otaki and the Kerikeri Cup at Ruakaka before dominating the best in OZ.
  12. Ok then it is a cache issue. Probably not the TAB.
  13. Who all had access to a race track close if they required to do fast work. In terms of more training centres what would be wrong with Motukarara or Rangiora?
  14. Yes both the 2000 and 1000 Guineas hold their status quite well. Some very very nice horses have won either.
  15. Are you using the website or the app?
  16. Why does it need help? I would have thought that Molly Bloom and Legarto would have helped keep its G1 status.
  17. Looking at the Calendar the Ellerslie meeting on the 22nd of February ISN'T a Premier meeting. I guess it will now be upgraded.
  18. Opie Bosson got quite a decent whack/headbutt from his ride in the second trial yesterday at Taupo.
  19. Headbutt sees Stackhouse ruled out of Sandown meeting Yesterday at 3:50pm by Xavier Pegum Daniel Stackhouse ruled out of Sandown. Jockey Daniel Stackhouse has been stood down in rare circumstances at Sandown on Wednesday after losing multiple teeth in a mounting yard incident. Stackhouse was parading aboard Athanatos prior to race one, when the even money favourite threw his head back and caught the rider flush in the face. READ: Victorian spring is on the cards for Kiwi duo Daniel Stackhouse receives medical attention at Sandown. Stackhouse brushed off the incident initially and went to the barriers in a bid to ride the Phillip Stokes-trained galloper, before being assessed at the gates and stood down by medical staff. Stackhouse has commitments at Sale, Geelong and The Valley this week.
  20. But the "Goal" isn't sustainable. A simple spreadsheet model would show that reducing the number of tracks to a select few that already have issues can't work unless the number of races are reduced which means the number of horses racing must reduce which must lead to less revenue. I guess it is clear from these announcements that Avondale isn't going to be a racecourse much longer (where will they hold trials? Let me guess on tracks that don't have training facilities and that are already under pressure) nor it seems is Otaki. I understand trainers are moving away from the track. Is Majestic offering a passenger service as well?
  21. I'd say parts of the cache are not clearing. Probably a Cloudflare configuration issue.
  22. But you have time to comment on how great those things are going outside your control!!! WHO is in CONTROL? Tell us - we need to talk directly to them. So you are a successful owner therefore you do have some control. Exert some pressure and leave a racing legacy that survives. I'm only publically commenting on what I hear when I listen to frustrated trainers trying to get the product on that shelf that the industry makes revenue from!
  23. What's the classification for a "Premier" track? One that's safe?
