  1. This peripheral integrity BS is a farce and a distraction when the RIU are not managing the individual events with any degree of professionalism.
  2. Yes I agree. But they can't lay their horses in NZ unless they use Betfair - correct?
  3. Why ban trainers from betting? If you start banning them and any other participant that has a connection then you further reduce liquidity in the pools.
  4. Let them all bet doesn't change the ability of the horse.

  11. They are still presumed innocent.
  12. But still presumed innocent. Note the RIU failed to provide sufficient evidence to the JCA that reached the threshold of a ban.
  13. Doesn't "tiredness" come from lack of sleep or over work?
  14. Well they were charged. Interesting the family lay advocate has gone very very quiet on the latest charges.
  15. Are you talking about the Dunn horses?
  16. A redistribution of the current stake money would help. Our stakes structure shouldn't be tiered nor have as much at the top end.
  17. The race in June where it was hit late on FOB?
  18. SOME cricketers yes (how many is it in a game where many many billions are bet?). But how many cases taken to court in New Zealand under the new law? Test Case for the RIU because previously they would have gone through the JCA process. I'd say there will be a posse of lawyers lining up on both sides to test this law. They all like a chance to get their name in lights and in precedents.
  19. Geez that would the third of any field on any given day! Good luck proving that. If you get a shyte draw and an equally good a horse has a better one who doesn't save their horse for another day?
  20. Well look how hard it is to prove match fixing in Cricket. If they are found innocent no doubt there will be enough for some to continue to say they were guilty. It is obvious that the RIU are test casing this. I wish they would get on with some of the easier tasks that they seem to fail with across all codes.
  21. If the owner layed it on Betfair that might be a different story.
  22. Thomarse does that help sort your bets out?
  23. Correct me if I'm wrong. Still trying to get my head around this approach. But based on those assessments and what the TAB is offering Star Performance is the value bet at this stage?
  24. You go first.
  25. Freda is correct. It is very unlikely that she would be allowed to gallop her team on a new track regularly. Even a Strahayr track couldn't sustain continual high use. They, like any track, have a limited life span before requiring renovation. Does anyone see any club being able to make enough income to maintain and eventually renovate a Strathayr? Let alone maintain and renovate all the other infrastructure required to run a modern racing complex?
