  1. You really don't want to know Murray.
  2. At least i manage to tip out winners PRIOR to the race starting.
  3. Is that the best you can do?
  4. You're obsessed with sex. Get some help.
  5. We're not all perverts like you mate. I guarantee 95% of the population wouldn't know some obscure porno reference. You did though so I guess you're not naive - just debauched. Wear it with pride. Well done on spelling ubiquitous correctly.
  6. You're naive if you think children don't get smacked.
  7. I doubt it's anything like that. More likely they had published Races 1 to 9 on the website and it would've created a bit of chaos to insert a new race and change the whole order of racing. Your last sentence is pretty ridiculous.
  8. Gee thanks for that, I would never have known.
  9. Here's the full quote from the Stipe in the LoveRacing article. I haven't got a frigging clue why the horses weren't mentioned by name in the stipes report but it's quite clear from this that they were the two horses affected. “We had the report from Sam Weatherley following race one regarding his horse moving around the final bend. An inspection was carried out following that race and all parties were happy to continue on,” stipendiary steward Brady Jones said. “Prior to race three we had a brief shower of rain and we had reports from Joe Doyle and Warren Kennedy that both of their horses had moved rounding that final bend, probably from the 500m right through to the 400m, and they felt their mounts were shifting. “We conducted a further inspection following that and found little pieces of movement, nothing glaringly obvious. The riders went back and had a meeting amongst themselves, and they reported to stewards that they didn’t have the confidence in the track to ride competitively on it, so the meeting has been abandoned.”
  10. Did I say he was? The horses were also mentioned by name in an article on Trackside.co.nz by Joshua Smith. I have no idea of the veracity of it but someone must have picked it up from somewhere as I also heard it on Trackside. Maybe you should email the powers that be and ask for an explanation instead of complaining on here.
  11. Came from 2 separate articles. Whether they're correct is not clear.
  12. It's mentioned in the article by Guerin that 2 horses slipped. The quote below is from a LoveRacing article. "Jockey Sam Weatherley reported his mount, Ess Vee Are, had slipped prior to entering the straight before going on to win the opening race of the card, while Joe Doyle and Warren Kennedy reported that their horses, Oppenheimer and Sabrina Hall, had also slipped in race three, resulting in a decision to abandon the meeting."
  13. Have done what you asked Chief Stipe.
  14. Sarten on Wednesday at Te Aroha.
  15. Hmm $33 outsider wins it.
  16. For once I agree with you.
  17. The horse that cast its shoe was in Race 1. That caused the meeting to be put back a race. Then in Race 3 Sabrina Hall slipped badly. End of story.
  18. God you really are a tosser. Keep talking amongst yourself with your alter egos. Bye.
  19. I actually asked a decent question Graham. Your reply is at your usual level.
  20. It is an interesting question. The main critic of Riccarton has just posted on Facebook extolling the virtues of Ashburton. I too can't see the difference but someone with more knowledge - maybe @Freda - might know more. It couldn't be that CW has some sort of agenda. Or could it?
  21. Does this count as gossip?
  22. On Mick Guerin's show.
  23. NZTR CEO Bruce Sharrock Resigns New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing (NZTR) has today announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Bruce Sharrock, effective 31 December, following a decision made several weeks ago. Under his leadership, Sharrock, who has served as CEO since April 2022, has brought about important changes and progress to the industry. “I joined NZTR with a genuine passion for racing and a determination to see us return to the glory days of the sport. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished over the past 30 months, and feel the time is right to step aside and let the team continue to execute this vision for the future,” said Sharrock. NZTR Chairman Russell Warwick commended Sharrock for his leadership through a time of transformational change. “Bruce has played an integral role in navigating the business through some challenging times in recent years, guiding the industry through the pressures of the back end of the Covid-19 pandemic and repositioning the NZTR offices and functions from Petone to Cambridge being just two examples of his leadership,” Warwick said. “During his time at NZTR he has built a first-class team around him, and I would like to thank him for his commitment to the revitalisation of racing” Sharrock is grounded by the quality of people that the organisation has attracted and acknowledges the hard work, commitment and support from the staff throughout his time as CEO. “I would like to thank the NZTR Board and staff who have supported me throughout my tenure.” “The building blocks are in place to enable a bright future for New Zealand racing. We now need to accelerate and capitalise on the opportunities ahead,” Sharrock said. Sharrock will remain in his role as CEO until 31 December and will continue as a consultant to NZTR until 31 March to oversee the implementation of current projects.
