That's fabulous to hear you saved so many. I followed the rehabilitation the vet set out, including driving an hour every second day to the vets so there was not much more I could do! Also the injury was very severe, but there was no way I was putting the dog down.

I'm going to disagree with you on this legend. As a past owner of dogs we saved a dog who broke a hock. The 6k vet bill was never an issue. He lived his life with me at home and I can honestly say the dog never had a quality of life. He had a constant limp, an ouch everytime he got off the floor. Would I do it again? Simple answer NO. Was the dog happy? NO! And I would be one of the biggest animal lovers in the country.

Do the greyhound tracks get inspected prior to trials like galloping tracks do? Because you would have to ask the question of how that part of the track became shifty and inconsistent after a few trials?

I contacted a friend nearby and asked about the rain, Was bugger all. Rain excuse is a cop-out. The track has been shit from day dot of being sand!

Yes you are dead right there! Greyhound racing in New Zealand is all numbers now! They all work with, out with the old in with the new! Faheys good dogs are imports? Walsh won the silver collar with an import? Who was the last great mcinerney dog? Ferguson has good dogs. Imports?

But you can call yourself a HALF decent trainer when you have two in a group 1 final and win it! Not much you can do when theres no other nominations in a full field to race against?

Thanks for that! I may of thought with only 46 starts and a 30.07 not so long ago at Addington she may of continued racing as Mr. Goodier is having success with other dogs from the same kennel. I Will look forward to seeing her on greatmates.

Lisa who won 9 of 12 races at wanganui tonight including the gp1 futurity! It really doesn't matter who's name is down as the trainer these days does it? Does J mcinerny train 60 dogs at Addington on a Tuesday and 20 at wanganui on a Wednesday, himself? Team Cole would sound far more appropriate! Bankrupt, ex or whatever you want to call it Grnz let the show go on.....

Nobody likes to see any dog injured no matter who trains it! No need to mention karma. I'm sure Jacob has experienced his own Karma along the way.
