So let's hope the RIU have notified Racing NSW of this gear change... Punters over there need to know the reason he was slow out and bounding in the Derby... ..was due to the fact the BB was left off... You can't have Australian Punters believing he's suss at the barriers and a punting risk... with fake news gear info...
-
Very interesting aspects to all of this for sure though.... ...maybe she's just a miler?? Who can't settle? The Roll didn't make a jot of difference really...it's her natural galloping style by the looks... ...and Weir's modus operandi of jiggery pokkery probably wasn't activated on her..being a natural So you have to believe the Jock and Waller when they make a change such as this.. If Mak says she was settled on race day... galloping to the start with them on... ...where they came off...you'd think having them on the entire time ..will definitely help her settle better over a longer distance Id be upping the stake investment to 20% in that case Walle's not a beginner...

If he's got this on around a stable...imagine what he's going to be like if he's lucky enough to get to stud status? A son of Redoute's he only has to place in a G 1 to be a chance back here.. https://mobile.twitter.com/Agent200/status/1111347983583334401

What's appropriate bean??..your post don't make sense man Anyway...Moi fears the anti Winn brigade couldn't recognise a gift horse... ...even if they were swallowed whole by one And you'd be happy to have silly old Slimon in charge... ..with a dose of Nath Guy again... Incredible

It's unfortunate the fields are so small... But at least they'll do a good job guesting him around... ..making up for their oversight somewhat...

Well "real young battler" is an oxymoron koppa... The likes of young Weatherly are "real young" in terms of coming through the ranks..and their natural talent should make a mark in the end... ...with total dedication to the cause of course...but he's not a battler...yet As for the other... You're generally as good as your surroundings...read upbringing...allows you to be... If your parents have a background of alcohol/ drug issues...it becomes generational... Its more than likely your role models then...are not somebody to look up to Those are the bare facts and Cindy's there to try and change these type of inequalities

Waller looks to have worked the oracle with this gear change...why wouldn't you trust Trainers to know what's best..and then adding 10% to your investment? Champion trainer Chris Waller is hopeful a gear change trialled prior to Verry Elleegant’s last win can extract an “extra five to 10 percent” more ability from the exciting filly in Saturday’s Group I Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill. Verry Elleegant is widely regarded as one of the most naturally-gifted fillies’ in a strong three-year-old crop but during her nine-start career, her racing manners have let the daughter of Zed (NZ) down on occasions. Verry Elleegant joined the Waller team prior to resuming in The Vanity and made her Sydney debut for the stable in the Group II Phar Lap Stakes at Rosehill a fortnight ago and couldn’t have been any more impressive recording an easy 3-1/2 length victory but again, she wanted to overdo it during the early and middle stages of the race. “She needs to relax better,” jockey James McDonald said post-race. “It’s hard to explain, she’s awkward rather than being fierce. She just doesn’t give herself a rest.” Stepping up from 1500m to 2000m on Saturday, Waller has made a significant change to Verry Elleegant’s racing attire, a process that started before the Phar Lap Stakes which the stable hopes will help the filly to relax this weekend. “Nose roll off and ear muffs (during the race) on,” Waller’s racing manager Charlie Duckworth said. “She’s obviously a very good horse but there’s four Group I winners in the race on Saturday and she’s yet to get hers and needs to be doing everything right. “Group Is are so hard to win, she can’t afford to be doing 90 to 95 percent of things right out there and beating horses like she’s up against. “I think we’ve got the right jockey (McDonald) to achieve it, I think we’ve made the right gear changes to achieve it. “The gear chances are a little bit of trial and error but mostly based on experience and feedback. “James galloped her in ear muffs on the Tuesday before her last start and he said she was so much more relaxed than when he’d galloped her previously. “She was a different horse when we put them on and she actually cantered down to the start in them prior to the Phar Lap and James said she was very passive. “We are quietly confident it will help her to relax during the race on Saturday and give us the extra five to 10 percent we’re looking for.” Verry Elleegant is the clear $2.70 favourite to win the Vinery Stud Stakes and Duckworth said “she’s flying” at home and “she’s drawn well so hopefully she can get some cover”. Meanwhile, the stable is also expecting the stablemate Zalatte to bounce back after she ran well below expectations when beaten 9-3/4 lengths in the Phar Lap Stakes.

Almond Eye shows Winx connections how to do it....
Thomass replied to Thomass's topic in Galloping Chat
Christophe Lemaire (Image: @MeydanRacing - Twitter) Lemaire: Almond Eye can be my Winx Tony McFadden@RacingPost 9:26am , ( Christophe Lemaire has hailed Japanese superstar Almond Eye as a "horse of a lifetime" and believes she can do for him what Winx has done for Australian jockey Hugh Bowman. Almond Eye's first step on the road to Longchamp, where she will bid to end Japan's well-publicised Arc hoodoo, comes in the Dubai Turf at Meydan on Saturday and connections have unwavering faith the filly has what it takes to go down as a true great. Lemaire said: "She can become a horse of a lifetime for me. Like Winx is for Hugh Bowman, Sea The Stars was for Mick Kinane, or Zenyatta was for Mike Smith. I feel blessed to ride her. "I think all racing lovers feel she has something special and that she can become unique in the sport's history – that's why so many people are supporting her." Almond Eye captured the imagination of racegoers in Japan by winning the Fillies' Triple Crown before shattering the course record in the Japan Cup last time. Ominously for her rivals Lemaire believes there is even more to come. He said: "She's already shown a lot of class but we don't yet know her limits. Every time we give her a challenge she does it well. She was especially impressive in the third leg of the Triple Crown. There was a short straight and she was towards the rear, but down the straight she was just unbelievable. "The next challenge was against older horses and males [in the Japan Cup] but she won quite easily and was not exhausted after passing the winning post." That devastating Japan Cup success was achieved over a mile and a half but Lemaire does not anticipate the drop in trip to nine furlongs in Saturday's Dubai Turf being an issue. He said: "I have no fear over the trip. She's won over a mile, ten furlongs and a mile and a half. Every time she has shown the same acceleration and class. "I think nine furlongs will be a good trip for her, especially for a first run this year as she may be a little bit fresh." Lemaire was on Wednesday reunited with Almond Eye when putting her through her paces on the turf course, and was pleased with the feel she gave him. The jockey added: "She worked very well as usual. She was very relaxed and focused. Her footwork was good and she felt comfortable on the track. The cushion was good, not too firm." A large media contingent from Japan has accompanied Almond Eye to Meydan and the buzz surrounding the filly will only grow if she dazzles on the international stage for the first time. Trainer Sakae Kunieda has tried to avoid making firm commitments beyond the Dubai Turf – a trip to York's Ebor meeting is being considered – but could not deny the Arc was the big target. Despite a number of agonising near-misses, most notably with Orfevre in 2012, no horse trained in Japan has ever won the Arc. Frenchman Lemaire has also never won the race, but has gone close too, notably when runner-up on Pride in 2006. The rider hopes Almond Eye can fulfil a dream for him and a nation at Longchamp on the first Sunday in October. He said: "The Japanese fans will be very excited to see Almond Eye run in the Arc. A Japanese horse has not won the race yet so they will be really looking forward to cheering a victory. "As a French jockey I dream of winning the Arc. This is the race for us and winning with a Japanese horse would be magic. I really want to bring this victory to Japan.” -
So mad Madison went off in the float last week...and was originally passed fit to race by the first Vet...who could see a simple harmless float rub... ..but then Racing NSW Feds..in the same tradition of the Racing Vic 'KIWI' Vets...who scratched him for being 'lame'ish... ...poked their sticky beaks in and got a proper 'BLIND' Vet to have another go at finding something wong...sure enough ...they found a massive under the skin hematoma sight unseen to normal humans... At least Muzza has had the cold ice and rubbing salts on the 'massive wound' this week... ...even the 'expert' intelly gents Ozzie form students managed to keep their blind eyes open.... https://mobile.twitter.com/racing_nsw/status/1111031663566315520

You've got to hand it to the relatively new CEO Pauly i wear sunnies while being interviewed on telly Whatshisname... ...he tries hard...new parade area, free sugar HIGH fizzy drinks for stable staff to keep them fizzed, encourage the Beautiful people along...and definitely no Chinese New Year Celebrations And the massive guilt complex when they forgot to include Corey in the App team in January...in case he melt in the North Is. air Now it's cooler ....HQ have invited Corey for a free working hol this week... Big ups for that... Corey has developed an innate sense of patience nowadays...and that's what you get surrounding yourself with salt of the Earth types in the Andertons... Lets hope he gets solid support from owners and trainers this week at HQ then...

Yea na If only a World leader in design and sheer class thought of Racing NZ as a hub where classy people congregate... like Logines Slipper Day.... ...indeed the Beautiful people from the likes of Reemers...and the new Nouveau Riche Knats inspired social engineering burb of Glen Innes...how times change... but definitely not Muttamutta Missing teeth, bogan hair cuts, split marriages, split personalities, akubra hats on stinking hot days...yuck..stink... definitely doesnt resonate with the Doyen of class...LONGINES....or Liousy Vootonne even...Mutta's go to bag Take a look at the LONGINES ambassadors to see how Muttamutta wannabes should behave and dress up...real people with real class...and not a Mullet to be seen...enjoy Model Rosie Tupper and The Rubens's Sam Margin talk family and his and hers racing style Longines Golden Slipper ambassadors Sam Margin and Rosie Tupper. Image credit: Ken Leanfore SHARE 27th Mar 2019 ANGELICA XIDIAS You're going to want to keep tabs on this power couple. It’s fair to say that Australian model Rosie Tupper and her husband Sam Margin, lead singer of indie rock band The Rubens, are one of the country's most effortlessly cool couples. As such, it’s no surprise that a brand as classically chic as Longines tapped the pair as ambassadors of the 2019 Longines Golden Slipper. Demonstrating that not only have they mastered the realms of music and modelling, but also fashion; the loved-up couple turned heads as they made their way trackside on Saturday, March 23. Layering a Lillian Khallouf pink tweed dress over a patterned silk shirt, Tupper accessorised her look with a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps and a Nerida Winter hat that sat perfectly atop her new crop. As for Margin, the singer cleaned up well in an MJ Bale suit. “I feel like what I’ve [been] trying and liking more, is more of a shorter sloppy dress, quite loose, not so long, and past the knee,” Tupper told Vogue of her autumn race day ensemble. “A bit more of a straight cut, short cut, but very graceful and elegant.” In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Longines’s iconic brand campaign, 'Elegance is an attitude', Tupper confessed that to her, elegance refers to a look that’s “quite graceful, beautiful, classic but understated – so not too fluffy.” A criteria she also used to judge the Longines Prize for Elegance on the day. As for how the couple’s partnership with the luxury Swiss watchmaker came about, Margin explained that while he and his wife are careful who they align themselves with, with Longines it was “kind of a no-brainer.” “We actually have a history,” he added. “When I first started dating [Rosie], I bought her a vintage Longines watch, so that’s kind of cute as well.” While Margin’s “pretty standard” skincare routine involves a beard trim and a swipe of his wife’s skincare products, Tupper shares she preps her skin with a hydrating mask the night before a big event, confessing she’s all about pared back beauty and fresh, clean skin. If you aren’t yet following Tupper and Margin on social media, then you’d better do so. Because, if their cool, calm demeanour and laid-back aesthetic hasn’t proven convincing enough, then the photos they share of their uber-cute nine-month-old daughter, Mozes Tupper Margin, will surely seal the deal. The couple, who married in an intimate rural wedding in 2018, before welcoming Mosez in August of last year, are now working on balancing their rising stars and climbing careers, with their desire to build a family. “I think I’ve sort of slowly eased back into work, which has been really quite nice,” Tupper told Vogue. “It’s not like going back to an office job, so it kinda works perfectly.” “If opportunities come up that are good for our careers, we’ve got to work out how to make it happen, but there is also a lot of flexibility,” agreed Margin, who added that unless he’s overseas, he “can generally move something around and be there on set looking after Mozes while Rosie’s shooting.” As for what the future looks like for Margin and Tupper? Preparing to leave for an American tour with The Rubens this week, the singer shared that while both he and his wife agree they’d like to continue to grow their little family, they won’t be welcoming a second child just yet. So, be sure to watch this space.

Hedley...thanks for your continued support in INTEGRITY matters... It beggars belief not many are by the looks...even the Media have ignored this THE race on the NZ Calendar...and they couldn't organise it properly You would have thought after the SI Barrier debacles they would have looked into the entire Starting protocols... ...as per the meeting of all NZ starters the RIU called last year at HQ To then hear the Derby starter leaves certain gear off his Starters card...and simply tries to remember them is incredible Im now in receipt of the Starters mea culpa to the RIU... ...in it he tries to tell the Feds that in his "Barrier assistant's opinion the lack of a Barrier Blanket on IAT made no difference" WTF?? Who cares?? And what's that got to do with it anyhow... He just ignores the fact it was leaning on the steel then bounded after the gates opened... One of the major problems in the NZ Industry is that too many people in charge are very close mates...and the Barrier Boys are very friendly with the Feds Hence the ZERO FINE...just a reprimand...amazing stuff

Leave poor Billy alone you bully.... Ive been 'Billy' once or twice...after sitting on the Thom ass for far too long reading your dispatches... I did the MASTERCLASS Bazz...that shut you up for a wee while Clearly you have a different philosophy to 'investing'...and 42 single losers is ok in your World...fair enough But at least add your losses up correctly...so that Herman and Grassi know when to suck up to you for some more vanilla postings...and massage your massive ego into "come back darling...we love you...don't go...pleeeeese" ..my girl Friday tells me the 15/3 is when your math started going westward ho ho ho ho...please correct and that may encourage Grassi to come back to even more encouragement...best

So Earily and Godber didn't do a bad job in answering this question today How could they not after reading these threads and moi holding these f'ers to account...blinding them with FACTS... So it turns out Starter Trev and his crew... CLEAN FORGOT.... ...and then Trev tried to execuse their f up by blaming Nebo going off in one of the inside stalls... which was total crap...as Godber said... ...and as I told yous Fellas...how did I know that?? You see IN A TWINKLING was being led in...with two attendants waiting to close the gate....3 in total BEFORE Nebo went off...and every f'er knows... The BARRIER BLANKET goes on BEFORE a neddy enters the stall But here's the f in shocker of all time 'starting protocols' f ups The barrier blanket is NEVER on the Starters sheet as gear to go WTF you say?? Thats right...according to Gobder the BB was never on the sheet...was never supposed to be there... The starting Boys just leave it to their MEMORY which was f'd... ..oh yes plenty of time to hand out water to the Jocks...but not enough to put the proper gear on... Thats now CHANGED Thanks Mick...good explanation after I exposed your lack of TRANSPARENCY KEEP IT UP
-
Why not take any highly educated people who want to contribute to a fair, loving all inclusive society Bazz... Free of red neks and Whakachungas smokers and drinkers?? btw....talking about facts ...why can't you add up properly? I'm told your 5 winners add up to sfa during your current "horrendous run"... wake up add up
-
Dunno if they're 'highly educated' bean... ...although the olde Presidente from Algeria got ousted by the Army today... ...he's edumicated in Comb Overs...not much else...but he could help you nonetheless... ...if Cindy invites him
-
AND because Prime Minister Ardern handled the appalling terrorism With APLOMB Many more thousands of top class immigrants have applied to become new Kiwis We can pick and choose the very best qualified... ...which will cancel out the red neks still trying to remain relevant

So the RIU have a chance to somewhat remedy...in a small way...that now common opinion today... Godber fronts up on the P Earily show to explain why they suppressed the reason IN A TWINKLING didn't have GEAR ON...that was listed...in our signature race The Derby... Just that the Starter was "reprimanded" For what? Has the 'system' been changed to ensure this doesn't happen again? To protect not only connections expectations that gear will be applied... ...but also ensuring Punters can expect correct procedures are taken care of... Instead of IAT being slow out by 2 lengths...after leaning all over the cold steel and bounding in the air upon release... Why, where, when...Wtf happened Mick?? You 'guessed' last week the owners "requested" it It seems you were as in the dark as the Starters employers...the Auckland Racing Club... Who didn't know their starters f'd up...after the RIU suppressed the reason away in a 'miscellaneous' report... The ARC then requested a private meeting with the RIU to observe the Video nasty Cant wait for some TRANSPARENCY today then Mick Thanks
