Don't think so. For a starter trainers or their vets do not administer the lasix. The 4 hours before a race is right but it's administered by a vet employed by the track for that pacific purpose. Does your physiologist actually state how much lasix was given for a horse to piss 25 litres? Do you even know how much is usually given or has dr google not told you? The 3yo season up there is the most important one for making stallions. of the stallions mentioned above sportswriter is the only one who retired from injury during middle of their season.

You are pretty clueless really. You have seen 1 horse sweat who is a lasix horse. Had the said horse just received the lasix? i've administered lasix myself for training purposes and also seen more than 1 or 2 treated by the vets and have never ever seen 1 sweat ! i have heard of the odd horse who is allergic to lasix and that those horses were never treated again with lasix. Maybe that was the case here. with a 4 day with holding time I don't think lasix will be masking too many race day drugs!
