Are the Stipes not checking the dates when they.check.the dogs before a qualifying trial? What is the wording of the rule?

How is it they are allowed to compete in a qualifying trial younger than 16 months. Is the trial not supposed to be a simulated race requiring a time deemed fast enough for the dog to be competitive in a tote race? No wonder the qual trials at Addington are more likely demolition derby's at times with dogs no more than adolescents. I now truly believe no qual trials until 18 months, birches not to race till 18 months and dogs 20 months.

The trainer that gets the biggest free pass is McInerney with.his half educated farm produce. Guess you get away with murder when the stipes new wife drops on for a visits regularly...

The travesty is they exclude someone like you from the sport who has ruffled a few feathers which is exactly what the sport needs anyway and you obviously have a genuine respect and love for the breed and they leave scum in the sport who will as we all know eventually bring the sport to its knees . Something has to give....

They get away with murder... last Friday meeting at Addington race 12 he put the wrong number on.the dog then realised when the real number 5 came out after stir up. Haven't seen a Mcinerney move so fast when sprinted back to the kennel block for a quick change. Not a stipe in sight. For one thing should he have been allowed to.leave the rest of the field anyway....anything could have happened in the 5 seconds it took in the kennel block...

Well done to Mark Robinson for getting David's Legacy into the final. Awesome effort. Great to see the little people of the sport mixing it with the big guns. Won't be an easy race but just to get in it must be a huge thrill for a man who really.does love his dogs. Good luck

Yes remember it well. I had Surprise Trooper going in.the Treble was paying truckloads. Grand Prix was another leg that paid 15 dollars would have been.a great collect. Sad to hear of his passing sounded like he was a character.. not many of them left now.
