I agree with some comments here,however if fields are drawn on form then the best 8 should be in the field irregardless of the owners ,No protection for owners ,why should they get preferential treatment they end up dominating most races at the cost of others just making the fields up for the high profile owners .When I nominate I don’t get preferential treatment.Best 8 in field next best 8 in 2nd field and so on .There would be a case for a variation in stakes but at least everyone would get a fair crack at the sav.Maybe some of your high profile owners and trainers may not be so keen on this idea but they should not be protected.

What people do we have in our ranks that could turn the sport around

Can someone please tell me why ties are a requirement at some tracks and not all.In my view they are an old fashioned fashion statement.that should be done away with.We are nearly in 2020 for God’s sake if we where back in the 1930s it would be ok .Come on clubs what right do you have to make people wear a fashion statement.
