  1. jocks raving about track seems like a nice track to start carnival off with 28mls predicted tonight and tomorrow
  2. what a dick wishing bad luck on clubs . every club in NZ is struggling especially after Covid I think its been R18 for 3-4 years now and suddenly you want to bag them
  3. i believe some track managers are using going sticks already but aren't allowed to produce them to the public until enough data is collected
  4. Even if it is damage control maybe they have learnt after producing a crap rock hard track on oct 3
  5. isn't NZTR protocol's a good 3 not dead 4??? well if Ellerslie are a good 3 Ellis and Richards will be going off or is that just at Riccarton ??? cant see why he would be complaining about tracks when he had 24 horses in at Avondale on a GOOD 2 EVEN STARTED A TWO YEAR OLD GO FIGURE
  6. don't people moan about all tracks or only just the CJC ??? I thought the information given was brilliant so if a nerve was hit then that's what all clubs should be responding re info for race days, hopefully from now on the CJC provides information like that to all of their meetings going forward
  7. With rain forecast for cup week its going to be very interesting how much irrigation is required and when it will be applied It must get difficult for the CJC with the forecast of rain, some will want it irrigated some wont hopefully with the deep soaking it has had since the the last race day is enough, Time will tell
  8. Strathayr would be in good in all main center's Going be interesting to see how Auckland's Strathyr goes when its put in next year
  9. I have heard up here (north) its taken out of the clubs hands and into te akau hands they have been threaten(apparently) that if they aren't allowed to gallop on course proper Tuesday/Thursday Saturday Saturday is( race day) they wont support the guineas being in the south island again hopefully my info is not right LOW act if it is
  10. they only had 16m on Saturday at Riccarton with the rail out 11m
  11. to be fair tracks should be firm this time of the year,i think we are lucky to of had what jumping races we have had
  12. to be fair it looked and raced better on Saturday than the 3rd October meeting give credit where its due
  13. by the look from the tv the weather and wind didn't blow like it did for that 3rd october
  14. wouldn't be a track manager in nz that would ask NZTR or Todd if they can water after tuesday
  15. that suit one south islander
  16. what NZRT Track manager you talking about???
  17. dead 4 or 6 wouldn't be the last watering down south say like Riccarton with that norwest they get.wouldnt it dry out to much ???
  18. why ?? you still think that the stipes and jockeys are wrong for not upgrading the track???
  19. Well real Stipes haven't upgraded it yet?? so jocks mustn't agree with you or they don't have a clue
