  1. I very clearly stated in my first post on this subject that I rarely visit or post on this site .... the reasons are obvious given responses to the posting, but the sad matter is far from over .... time will tell. Not about being right by the way, about meaningful debate and that ingredient very much missing on this site, hence my non involvement Sure you understand
  2. Really Doug .... same old same old as thin as it now is. Try and move on Doug and create a good site with robust discussion with many active posts.... appreciate His site annoys the hell out of you but I suggest you strife for the success he has. Enjoy
  3. You really are absent with nouse. Not wrong at all, just let it unfold .... you will see how correct I have been. Your site His site .... no choice us there ... just take an hour out and read your site .... enough said
  4. Agree Part 1, Worksafe and Coroner can address many other Statutes On Part 2, can't comment ... don't know don't care .... I prefer a more deeper meaningful site with significant contribution from 100s of active participants ... if you get my drift
  5. A more meaningful and educated debate on Channel X, as you would expect. Worth a visit and a read, addresses your question
  6. Gotta be very disciplined HJ Only Club Card and Super Saver, after 3 months work out the cycle of discounts and it is simple, huge savings ... no Pam's or Signature product .. genuine product. Last month for the 2 of us 528 with savings of 95.49 registered on my Clucard ... happy with that and full premier products. Easy if you are very very disciplined .. no deviation from Club Card or Super Saver
  7. If you stick solely to NW Club Card and Super Savers they are cheaper than Pak and Run Source ... Foodstuffs website
  8. The is ... Coroners Act
  9. It is well known I follow Australian racing only, gave up on NZ racing some 10 years ago, can't blame me
  10. God, are you slow or what. Worksafe investigate. Coroner's inquest Statutory requirement for non naturally caused death. Read the Act for godsake
  11. You really are a High Court muppet Chief. Quite silly IMHO. I have never said posters can't post, never. I have simply said RIB have their hands tied and cannot comment. I invited you to go to RIB and ask them, clearly neither you or curious will. Therein is the answer. You really do have to stop this twisting of threads to suit your own narrative. I rarely post on this site for this very reason, you twist things to promote your own point of view, have never understood that as most times you seem to be off track anyway. I think the other site owner has the smarts on this issue, he is way way ahead of you. Very bright successful businessman is Scooby-Doo Cheers
  12. Your a legend Chief a pure legend, but I suggest you need to brush up on interpreting Statute Laws. If you and Curious are so wound up by it why don't you communicate with RIB directly. I am sure they will reply, not. I suspect Scooby-Doo, a very bright and succesful guy, is aware of a couple of other Statues that could easily come into play and is acting carefully and responsibly as a site owner must, and should. That be another debate tho. Satisfied that the comments I have made factually, and legally, correct, in fact certain on that but can't be bothered providing you with case law precedents, which are at hand, you can Google that
  13. 139A, no I don't make it up as it happens, trained to interpret Statutes
  14. Read S139, peculiarly written Act, with many aspects written back to a primary Section. S74 cannot be read in isolation but it is the S that controls information release
  15. All unnatural deaths are referred to the Coroner
  16. Your dating on the earlier case is correct. Prior to a formal release of a Coroner's Inquest Report discussions occur and authority given in regards release of information. I do not know but suspect the process was followed here. S74 is absolutely relevant in the current matter, and I suggest has been invoked by Worksafe to the Coroner and RIB on notice ... that is the normal process so as to avoid frustration if investigation. I would be astounded if this were not the case, knowingvery well how Worksafe work
  17. Chief, your last sentence is nonsense, if you are referring to RIB. RIB have their hands tied, via Coroner's Act .... it is that simple.
  18. And throw in Riccarton as that is worth something today .... but after they loose GN week and the big races during Cup Week it will be worth zilch
  19. Been there many times Joe and very enjoyable. Always stayed downstairs in the betting ring which was full if theatre ... probably the best ring in Aussie ... Randwick is good but Flemingtin, on an average Saturday, only has 5 or 6 bags at the rear of the new stand. NZ has no on course theatre ... bland and boring
  20. Remember that day Freda. Why a race day is spread over 5 to 6 hours is beyond me and simply not what is relevant today, lives too busy. First race 1.30pm, 10 races with the last at 4.30pm, 20 minutes between races. Going to the races for 6 hours is as boring as btashyte. Different in Aussie, Flemington in particular, where the quality of horses is so much better and they introduce much color and theatre with parade rings and fully mounted walk around with jocks on board. One feels involved.
  21. Yep your figures accurate, it really is *pie in the sky stuff*, similar to Goldsmiths fcuk up pre last elections for which he paid the price. I really wonder about the management of the TAB, and our industry, they simply do not get much right. Deservedly a sunset industry on its knees. No bailout next time
  22. Flemington is the best track in the Southern Hemisphere, complete with 9 full time gardeners tending the roses which in itself tells you the gulf between *them and us* is wider than the Tasman Sea, somehow we are stuck in the roughness of Cook Straight minus a Captain of Industry
  23. Mid week in Aussie 40k, I am happy had 2 wins over last 3 months bills paid for 12 months, but not a Saturday horse running for 140k
  24. It is a very bad read ... the costs to the new betting platform are really kicking in ... simply poor management, historical, that needs to be sorted out. Frankly, the business is simply insolvent, again... terrible news
  25. Freda, blame the RIB and the Inca fiasco ... immense damage caused by that debacle Most of my non racing friends quote Inca time after time and are amazed I still follow racing, albeit only Australian racing ...
