The Geelong Cup looks a good race. Finche is highly regarded. May still be some attrition at the top. Some of them haven't been going that well. I'm not one to get hung up on weight. The Europeans are used to carrying bigger weights. I think Best Solution is a little short at current odds though. I think Yucatan is too short also. Be interesting to see whether they accept Rostropovich for the Cox Plate.

It depends on whether the horses you refer to are incapable of winning further races. Or whether they are simply targeting the wrong races for the horses they have.

Whilst there may be a view of less consistency, I'd suggest it is more the inconsistencies within a single track, not the inter-relationship from one track to another.
