Still steady $6 for the Everest. If she bolts in the Moir they'll have a fair bit of leverage for an Everest slot I'd say.

Feel free to post your massive lay bet. No doubt you are laying that off on the $6 quote for the Everest. No ,the fact I don't think she will win is irrelevant...market says she's a home run. My assessment of the variables and her price ,tell me she's a..lay. Feel free to post your 'money for jam' bet on...her.😁
Gammalite
'Laying' should be left to the 'old hens'. No one should be wishing for Champions to get beat just because of shorts odds or whatever. Tonight in the MOIR I hope she rounds up the 2 Queenslanders just like last time ( in her last start at MV) and that is the trifecta . 1st, 2nd and 4th on that occasion. Giga Kick got in the 'road' , but he's out of the 'road' now. So Imperatriz is set for her BIG victory tonight all going well unless some bloody hen tries to cross the road 🐔

I always call someone who performs at the very top level of any sport ( that is Group 1's in racing) and then WINS a champion of their sport. If the All Blacks Win . they'll be 'World Champions' . A huge honour...something they've already been in the past . YEah I think they (AB's) can Win 🏆. Give it a jolly good shake anyway ........🏆

A bit like the $1.60 on Nz's Best Trotter in the country racing at Addington tonight. Muscle Mountain winning easily. money for jam. Akuta 2nd at Addington in the Group 2 would of been 'nice' . but can't have all the luck lol.... The $1.75 on All my multi's looks good cruising into a big Brissy Lions winning weekend . Bronco's would also add to the 'fun'. 🍻🍾 Hope in Your Heart would be a fantastic good result in the Epsom now. Watch for her flying home late on (to win I hope)

curious
Mark Walker was at the track and again reiterated the intention for Imperatriz to stay in Melbourne to contest the Group I Manikato Stakes and Champions Sprint at Flemington. “The mare is so happy here and I don’t see any sense in putting her on a float,” Walker said. “They are prestigious races and she’s loving it down here.”

Chief Stipe
Imperatriz dominant in Moir but The Everest remains off table Imperatriz wins the Moir Stakes. Gun New Zealand mare Imperatriz has cruised to victory in the $750,000 Group 1 Moir Stakes (1000m). The Mark Walker-trained sprinter balanced up in the straight and stormed over the top of gallant runner-up Asfoora to win by a length. Imperatriz ran 56.47 sec, breaking her own 1000m track record. Jockey Opie Bosson, who is catching a plane home to New Zealand on Friday night to ride in Group 1 races at home on Saturday, said she gave him an "amazing feeling". "Credit to the team … she's a privilege to ride," Bosson said. "She just gives you an amazing feeling when she lets down… I was a little bit worried today, she was a bit fresh, she tried to buck me off going to the start but onwards and upwards I think." Walker reaffirmed plans to keep the six-time Group 1 winner, unbeaten in three starts at The Valley, in Melbourne despite the carrot of the $20 million The Everest in two weeks. "She's so happy here I don't see any sense on putting her on a float," Walker said. "They're prestigious races and she's loving it down here." Imperatriz will next target the Manikato Stakes on October 28 and the Champions Sprint on November 11. Despite the rhetoric around keeping her in Melbourne, Imperatriz firmed into $4.80 to win The Everest following her Moir blitz. Asfoora's jockey Mitch Aitken praised the Henry Dwyer-trained mare's performance. "She gives 100 per cent every time. I just tried to pinch it on the corner, but a better horse beat us tonight. Very happy with her," Aitken said.

The Moir has a total stake of $815,000 ....how many times would she have to win that to equal even the 2nd prize in the Everest. It comes with Grp 1 black type which adds permanently to her residual value. Black Type is how the industry measures the quality of the horses.
