Walt
I felt the win yesterday was her most impressive. Worked to get the top and came up the home straight without a care in the world. Remarkable turn around. Also impossible to deny that Carter drives her and others in the team like they can do much more work than all the others and still beat them comfortably. Certainly drives with confidence. I see Tom Twidle won easily with Cardi B yesterday. Would it be unreasonable / unkind to question if she could be the new Armalight if she transferred over to the Dalgety Stable? Maybe there's just extra good water in Canterbury at the moment. Will just go and ask Barry Ward

I'm not to going to knock her but Moonlite Dream has to be awfully hard to beat. She's got an excellent record on the track and ran a fine second behind Got You Covered last time out. G.Y.C would eat that field for breakfast. Only reason her price has drifted is related to the bets going on Woodlea Jewel. Should be a good race to watch. Once again Brodie way off course with his predictions. The owners had a good laugh when they saw the rubbish he posted on this thread and subsequent back down with egg all over the place. What with all the massive TAB BGP bets of late and this it must be an awful time for you. Keep up the nonsense prediction posts though as we need to know what to back .

What a complete eggplant thing to say. Always easy to be wise after the event. I analyze a lot of form and also felt the price was too short considering her race and trial form. Nobody said she couldn't win what was a fairly ordinary race, only that based on the information punters had on hand she was too short. Not easy to see how a mare can find an easy five lengths after three seasons where she won two out of twenty eight starts....then remarkably wins three on the bounce in her fourth season. The third of those wins was so impressive the crew are now looking at starting her in a Mares Group Race. If you can predict that sort of thing with the information at hand you must have won lotto a few times. I know a lot of owners but don't know any that would win with their horse and then laugh at an experienced punter that felt she was too short. I met several of the big crew of owners @ Nelson. A good bunch. The betting movements were strong but we've all seen thousands of "good things" on the tote get rolled over the years. The guys I met were a happy lot with no small minded vindictive pricks amongst them. What I'm saying is you're just a troll. Nothing has changed. Give yourself a girly upper cut and slide back under your rock. I encourage Brodie to share his perspective. Sometimes we get it wrong but that's why it's called gambling. I'd rather have that than your spiteful bullshit from the shadows....after the fact. 1

Way off course with a prediction? Yes as Walt has just stated no one couldve predicted the improvement in Woodlea Jewel since it left Tom Twidle’s stable, or you could? Why are you not on here bagging Tom Twidle for not getting the results that the Dalgety’s are? I stated that the odds for Woodlea Jewel on what it had shown previously and at the last trial before it raced were well unders, and I stand by that statement!!!!!! Do you really think Brodie actually gives a rats from you trying to put him down? Seriously stay on the Darkside if you only want to come over and confirm to us that you are far better sticking to there, and your loving boyfriends and lovefest! 1

Last week I said Mossdale Ben would near have to fall over to get beaten in the Marlborough Cup. He ran fourth but that's ok. I'll still put up horses I think will win ...or won't win and I'll do so prior to the race. That guy is a deadset plonker ....always has been, always will be.

We all know that certain trainers will improve any horse when they go into bigger stables they can become more competitive and they do not go without. Woodlea Jewel improved substantially from its trial at Rangiora to when it first raced at Nelson for Dalgety’s. Whether it needed the trial to top it off maybe, and it didnt beat a lot. Tom Twidle has had some good horses so I do not believe he is a mug trainer at all, just something has improved Woodlea Jewel, and it seems to be getting better. We need people to express opinions, whether we agree with them or not. Not enough people express their thoughts and this was shown by so many of the citizens of NZ are easily led and followed the orders of Ardern and Bloomfield etc. even though they were full of BS!!!

Apparently had been working the house down and her army of new owners just kept backing her. We don't know what we don't know Brodie. If we were punting on race and trial form you wouldn't have her as odds on fav. As for Mrs Ed ....but she cares...haha
Walt
Woodlea Jewel started short today at Invercargill. Ran last despite having impressive lead up form. Sat at the back doing SFA. Moved forward but quickly apparent that nobody was home. Not being wise after the event, just giving my take on todays run. Would you back her next start on that run if she started at $1.90? The horse that won had raced well against the best mares in the country including Millwood Nike while Woodlea Jewel had been beating one and two win horses and had drawn wide on a leaders track with a ton of gate speed inside. I would like to thank the BGP for raising the dividend on the Advance Party 😂. Once upon a time win movers were a good indicator to horses chances but social media has pretty much killed that train of thought. Following random guys picks that get plunged in by a group of sheep following along is a compete waste of time. But it can work to your advantage and today was a good example. I had Advance Party around 1.90 and to get $5.00 was unbelievable.
