Brodie
You would have to agree that young Junior driver Carter Dalgety must be our best Junior driver ever? He achieved it in only 550 drives, much quicker than Dexter Dunn and nearly 400 drives less than Sarah O’Reilly! Yes he has driven some very good horses, but surely the fact that he has achieved it so much quicker than anyone else is proof enough? Very professional and an asset to the industry. He for one, is not one that goes out on the track and waits for something to happen! He wants to put his horse in the race and that is all we can ask for. Well done Carter!

Very professional and an asset to the industry. he's doing fantastic and bringing them (low class horses) through the grades too. and a GROUP 1 this week too with the Great Northern Oaks. a very impressive effort. All You Need Is Me was super impressive and could have a 'Milwood Nike' winning type of year , sweeping all the Fillies races. Is that the first Group 1 win for Carter do you know Brodster? or Ranga might know. think Blair was driving Krug all the time ? and TonyH won the GN Derby driving it (when it bolted that time)

It was the first year the Invercargill Cup had G1 status.

Her race debut was only two months ago @ Nelson so she's come a long way way in a short time. Carter is a very promising young driver. He drives like he's not only driving the best horse but the fittest. The confidence from knowing his drive is better and fitter than all his rivals is clearly evident. To my eye, this has played no small part in a percentage of his winning drives. If he stays on the trajectory he's on now he'll be joining Dexter in North America within a few seasons but plenty of time for that.
Brodie
Carter Dalgety winning races in the United States surely is confirming that Carter Dalgety is the best Junior since Dexter, if not better? Good on him and clearly he will probably end up living snd driving there for awhile.
