mikeynz Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 (edited) Race 1 Addington, 2yo trotters, 5 starters 100000 stake, tote win pool just over 3 grand, no good singling out Manawatu, this can't be smart decision making, Whanganui cup today 80000, probably do more than 30000, the mind boggles. You are correct there are many race meetings that are losing money for the industry, and the decision making is poor in many instances. However everything is fine as Entain is here to booster the stakes for 5 years as they promised so that they have control of NZ’s only legal gambling Agency for 25 years. Everything is rosey until the 5 years is up and then watch the carpet be pulled from our once great harness racing industry. 1 Quote
mikeynz Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 And next week $200000 for 3yo trotters, not even Ellerslie can better that today. Quote
