SW&P you usually need to read the fine print, possibly something to do with wining  a blacktype race in the last 12 months or a race impacting on the handicaps.

Below is some guide and it's similar to the 3yo SWP's...used to be an 18 month cut off, maybe still is

Cant find the "standard regulations' anymore and they used to publish an actual handicapping booklet!

So winner of a G1 within 18 months 3 kgs...18m months and 1 day ZERO kgs

It's a balmy system for sure

"Set Weight and Penalty (SWP) Races The weights for SWP races are determined by a system of fixed penalties for winning performances. These penalties are set out in the Standard Regulations

Clubs may run a race with different SWP conditions, and such races will be advertised in the Racing Programme Guide.

d. Set Weight and Penalty and Set Weight 2YO and 3YO Races For all Non Group and Listed Set Weight and Penalty races, the weights will be 57.0kg for Colts and Geldings and 55.0kg for Fillies.

Penalties: Winner of a Group 1 3.0kg

Winner of a Group 2 2.0kg

Winner of a Group 3 and / or three or more races 1.5kg

Winner of a Listed and / or winner of two races 1.0kg Maiden weight allowance 1.0kg Penalties not cumulative
