Would be good to have some in put from Mr. Freeman backed up by the R.I.U. assessment of this and of course trainers and Punters thoughts... cichlid Posted December 18, 2018 Author Share Posted December 18, 2018 The trial is over for now from the 410m boxes and 5 races out of 12 this Sunday have reverted to the 375m. The only real concern of the trial outcome seems to be that boxes 7 and 8 were disadvantaged. There is no question or doubt the racing from the 410m was, as inticipated, cleaner and more doggy friendly on the first bend. What is more important, The safety of your hounds or a random box draw? Brando Posted December 20, 2018 Share Posted December 20, 2018 It seems reverting back to 375m was just temporary, while the PN club put it to members at the AGM to decide the future of 410m racing. Great news that 410m racing will be the distance going forward after Sunday's PN meeting. Also noting; the club will be making adjustments to the track and boxes' positioning to ensure it's fair for all starters of 410m racing.
