Brodie
Congratulations Sam Thornley on winning the Australasian Young Drivers Championship in Oz . It is always a well run event they hold and with plenty of races over several different tracks it gives the young drivers plenty of chances. Sam Thornley has done a great job since he started driving several seasons ago and his young namesakes are also very capable horse people. I remember when there were many around castigating young Sam for being over vigorous on a drive at Addington and were calling for him to have his license taken off him! the fact is that the horse he was driving always needed the persuader, it was the male horse with the female name, something Rose! Brodie went into to bat for the young lad on BOAY and he was on the money knowing that the bloke was going to be successful. 1

Got a decent Brodie sized multi with the NZ horses Tact McLeod, The Falcon and Cantfindabetterman. Couldn't believe the $3.80 on offer for Tact McLeod. I had it priced at $1.70 in that field. 2
