curious
20 heats tomorrow at Foxton and horses from as far afield as Hastings, New Plymouth and Cambridge. What is wrong with the system that horses have to go to the expense and trouble to travel that far for a trial? 30 heats at Pukekohe! Ask the gullible fools who believe in centralisation.

And Cambridge. No one wants to trial on synthetic tracks in summer. Ridiculous even scheduling them.

Horses from Hastings and New Plymouth have been trialing at Foxton for years Others have started to come from Cambridge to ensure they do a trial start with numbers in the Waikato. From a sale point they also see it as easier to win at Foxton.

What a shocking waste of a good track, especially in winter when punters have to put up with the cess pit at Whanganui in a single lane potential dwath trap is the arsonist out on how detention by now or did he get a wet bus ticket for a sentence Te Teko was another wanton waste of a good track, especially in winter NZTR still have 'issues' with racing Foxton? curious
I don't think there's any issues with NZTR. That is a good relationship as far as I know. They certainly give them plenty of trial dates. Also, I think they can apply for a one day licence which they originally said would probably be available once everything was up to snuff. But, they probably make more money today than they would from an industry day.
