Not in NZ at the moment and sat down and watched the replays of the races from Addington.

Wondering what people who were oncourse think of the new lights?

Are they brighter and better than the old ones?

Watching on my ipad, the lights do not seem to be as bright and also varying in light with darker patches throughout!

Is it an improvement to what we had, will be interesting to know?

Obviously I didn’t notice, so maybe not much better

Definitely not consistently even light going from what I see in the replays!

Be interesting to hear from someone who drove out there on Friday night

I did notice that when i was watching on Friday,i thought that some of the lights went out,as there were some dark patches. So i checked the stewars report but nothing was mentioned about the lights.Obviously it was safe for the drivers, but yea it did look a little odd.Hopefully they'll settle down and it was a one off.

Just watched the replays of all races at Addington tonight.

From what I can see, the new lights appear to be very inconsistent with bright bits combined with dark patches and shadows?

Surely there is something wrong here and needs rectifying as it could be very dangerous especially in Winter when it is dark for the whole meeting?

Are the new lights better or worse if you have been on course?
