Weasel
All hail to Danzdanzdance, Queen of the Turf. It is no mean feat to go from a 1600m Gp 1 left-handed to a Gp 1 over 2000m right-handed at Ellerslie. She has beaten multiple Gp 1 winners and did it off a slow tempo, coming wide on a heavy track. And left them for dead. I'd like to see her have a crack at the $5m All Stars Mile in Melbourne in the autumn. Well done, Chris Gibbs and Michelle Bradley and team at Ruakaka.
SLB2.0
Could have a crack but would likely finish 5-6 lengths behind the best in Aussie.

She was already competitive over there as an immature 3 year old. Gee you guys love bagging good horses don't you?

pete
Very true but you have the feeling that the track didn't really suit her. No surprises here, she's looked a star since she started racing.

Feel free to get carried away, but I'm a seeing then believing kinda guy.

However, I haven't seen anything from the runs in Oz to suggest there is that much difference from at least G2 level. I'm not suggesting she would win a big race by any means. But I'd say she would be competitive against most G2/G3 level horses - especially in Sydney. And even some G1 races there.

A wet track would see many good G1 performers run three lengths behind many a horse.. here and in Aussie, but what I love about her is she can sprint and she can stay, she can run on good over distance and in soft, and that's a group of good cards to hold in your top pocket when approaching any race meeting with this horse. I think she's a beaut mare and she's honest and I reckon they should give her a go at the Melbourne Cup.

I agree that the Nz Gp 1 contenders at present are not brilliant and wouldnt be competititve in Oz in the autumn but DDD is a different proposition altogether - lightly tried, handles all tracks, versatile distance-wise and has an explosive sprint. In my view superior now to Savvy Coup (who beat DDD in the Livamol)and I hear the Waller stable and others wouldnt mind finding a box for her over there!! Turny
She would have to bring her A game but is in the mix - She has the goods but Randwick wet track is tricky, even some good ones don't handle it and it will be wet as they prepare the track for the QE winner
