She argued that the fact the growth plates in the vertebrae haven't closed is evidence of pathology caused by race training. However the science says that growth plates don't fully close until 5 to 6 years!!! Quote

Not clear what she said. My point is given the alleged age of the horse closure wouldn't be expected regardless. In any case Nairn is not qualified to make any diagnosis. Quote
