Do we still have commingling....some of those tote win pools yesterday at Ellerslie  topped a million and the others were better than normal too,  those figures can't just be for bets placed in NZ alone or are they?

The KM Races were in the World Pool run by the HKJC.

How often do we bet into the world pool in Nz? 
 

Is our tote the world pool for every Hong Kong meeting?

 

I know there are different minimum % bets on Hong Kong compared to other meetings with these tab.

It really is a matter of getting your races accepted as prestigious enough to be accepted by HKJC who run the World Pool.

Probably the reason why they switched the Railway, being a G1 to KM day.

Unsure whether the World pool applies to the entire meeting or just specific races.

How is it a "rort"?  The tote auto set the odds based on betd taken less the takeout.  What was the takeout percentage?

I thought it was lower than that

14.5% co-mingled

15.5% NZ only

The only rort is that too many people went tote and that is how a totalisator works.

$1.50 -55 FO was available for most of the day

The question regarding commingling, some pools from gallops from Oz are much bigger than our local product, which suggest commingling still happens or is it just Entain Australia combined with Entain NZ 

As for the World pool, 1 million dollar win pools at Ellerslie, if that's the rest or some of the rest of the world 1 mill don't seem a massive amount to me.
