Love this photo. 

Looked like he loved to run. No wonder he was the first to break two minutes for the mile in Oz.

Crazy to think his owners turned down $100 000 for him in the mid 70s. That is huge money!

Wouldn't it be amazing to assemble a field of trotters or pacers from all eras in a mythical race against each other. Now that would be a true Miracle Mile.

Yeah Happy.  Brilliant horse. Pacing bred with the golden cross of the 40, s back in his pedigree Axworthy /Peter the Great, and the Great Adios as his granddaddy. He could and did beat the pacers of his time and still holds the record for most consecutive wins by a trotter, 24.

No but close. If you look hard enough in the background above the saddle cloth you will just see a little figure standing by the rail. Thats me.
