Letterkenny Boy made a flyer and was expertly positioned into the one-one by Tim Williams only for the Lee-trained Bigandme driven by C. Lee to veer outwards taking Letterkenny Boy and Tartan Robyn off the track with the latter two locking wheels. Next time it might pay to watch the race first before making wild claims. Just a thought! Tongue in cheek old man, that's why I assumed it broke as it would have won by panels

Got to love the rules.

Ranga got his $2.90 from if he put $1 on the four winners all up would’ve given him the equivalent of $2.90! Ranga is very easily pleased and thinks that he will make a killing by all upping on $1.10 stinking hot favourites!!

Hi Brodie, The subject got off the topic, and there was a side conversation about our horse Jack's Legend. Maybe, it was an error on my part. Cheers. Is it any wonder that people say that punting is a mugs game Ranga!!! You will go broke if you keep doing this without doubt! Only takes one miss and you are out! What an absolute waste of time punting on stinking hot favourites like that!!! Ranga might be right about you being new to this game Brodie, as you seem to have a strange understanding of the mathematics of odds-setting. To clarify, so long as the odds are set efficiently (which all the evidence suggests they are), the probability of a 6x$1.20 multi coming in is exactly the same as the probability of latching on to a single $3 winner. Actually, according to the favourite-longshot bias (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favourite-longshot_bias), the multi might even be a little more likely. Basil, I can assure you that I will make a lot more money backing something at $3 rather than 6 $1.20 stinkers!!!
