A bit of rain is forecast for tomorrow and Saturday but I hope that won't affect the possibility of racing. The day itself will be sunny according to the forecast.

I see Addington is on tomorrow as a prelude meeting for Methven  ?

I think the new season starts with the first grass track meeting but I may be a touched biased.

Trying to study up when I have time.

I have narrowed a few races down to single digit possibilities at this stage ?

When was the last time Paul Court had runners at Methven?

Am I right to say he is hardly a regular on the grass circuit?

Only trained one winner at Methven.

And even then it was only half a win.

Beach Skipper dead-heated a few seasons back.

I see Paul Court had a couple at Methven this time last year so my memory lapsed on this one.

I also see the two of them that raced were Chatty Man and Mongolian Spear........Methven to Mongolia!

Track manager says no fear of not racing at Methven on Sunday.

"Not scared of a shower or two of rain."

Hope that doesn't come back to bite him in the arse.

Looks like someone may have a sore arse.

I'm not going to say anything for fear of putting someone in a difficult situation.

Extremely disappointed in this outcome especially for some particular individuals.

However, was happy to roll up the sleeves and lay out the welcoming mat today to the Methven Club at Ashburton.

Won't be a rock hard track, but should still be good racing.
