Initial Response by S Dolan

Timaru HRC - Sunday, 24th November 2019

Race 9 - LASER ELECTRICAL TIMARU FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE

TALL POPPY - trainer S Dolan was warned for being late to notify the mare would be racing with sliding blinds. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Paced roughly throughout. Driver M Anderson reported he did not activate the blinds due to having the field covered. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer S Dolan advised the mare had been treated for a corn and he had made alterations to the shoeing. He also advised he had been transporting her to Rangiora Racecourse in recent weeks for fast work on a better surface in company which had helped the mare.

Mr Dolan was also issued with a charge lodged under the Horse Movement Regulations. Mr Dolan admitted both charges and after considering submissions on penalty the JCA reserved their decision.

How much trouble does that land someone in?

Who was the horse with instead?

Of all the vague explanations one can give...you give a detailed false one!

whilst that seems unlikely I am not prepared to under estimate what a horse can do

Poppy would be fit from walking to Rangiora from Russley. Hope she took a short cut as the traffic is awful.

Not much would get past those Formula 1 dudes. Especially a horse walking on the motorway to Rangiora.

Does he live on the side of the m/way? Oh rangiora not rangatira?

Under the Waimak bridge?

Does Poppy have the Rangatira's permission to have a sip of the Waimak on her long journey to Rangiora?

True or not, SAFE would have a field day if they got a sniff of it. It would make it onto the mainstream news, of course, they would bring up INCA and metal lined whips to set the scene and set the code back years.

Is this the same guy involved in INCA as well, or am I thinking of someone else?
