holy ravioli
Watching the races tonight..late meeting at Melb..I do wonder if these trackside presenters have any useful purpose. They are a bit like a consultant..lend them your watch and they'll tell you the time. Most people can read and have ears so I think these guys should be dispensed with. Big savings too if the salaries I've heard they're paid are true.
Mark D
Don't agree. They add plenty to a broadcast. No problem with the Aus ones. We have a problem recognising talent in NZ and sometimes give people the job for the wrong reasons - mates, used to work for us in another position - which is a society wide issue which racing does not have on its own but tend to stand out when they're on TV. So I have a problem with a couple of our ones but am ardent admirers of others.
holy ravioli
I find the studio crossover NZ commentators dull and boring .
Mark D
Generally I agree - but always dependent on who it is.

Let's face it though ravi How f in boring would this job be? And Imagine the comedown for the likes of Tan...having to comeback from the giddy heights of HK.. To reading prices for the Dipton f in Dogs?
Mark D
So Mark Rosanowski on track at Trentham today in place of Bev and Rodders and the supposed "A team"and after just 1 race and post race interviews - great interviews pure class and professionalism. Underused talent
Chief Stipe
I've always liked Rozzo as a presenter. Very knowledgeable and doesn't come across as a know all. Pleasant change to the other two.
