Brodie Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 As Happy posted the NZ Tab has brought out the fixed odds a day before the meeting! This is fantastic and must be encouraged! This is fine for those that are able to get money on in a reasonable amount!!!! However, NZ TAB how about being a betting agency and accepting the wagers from punters that are now restricted to amounts that do not make it worthwhile. The odds are always in your favour, but you never play FAIR!! You let some punters on and not others, why are you so selective and u fair? All you are doing is ensuring that you lose enthusiasts interest in racing and that is going to continually be a nail in harness racings coffin unfortunately! Come on NZ TAB be KIND!. Quote

Hopefully with new executive replacing the previous ones. There may well be a change in thought processes, as they certainly need it! Quote

Refusing to accept a bet at the advertised odds may break the spirit of fair game, but it does not break any law. Until the industry’s regulations change, so that refusal to accept bets is a reason to lose their licence, it is down to the individual to choose who they entrust their money with. 2 Quote
