Brodie Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Heaven Rocks has won his first race in the U.S. It has in the results that Heaven Rocks is from Australia! Does anyone know why this would be the case, or has the owner just stuffed up and told the U.S. harness outfit that the horse came from OZ? Quote

Brodie Posted June 5, 2018 Author Posted June 5, 2018 Cardigan Bay I think they said was Australian as well. Lol Quote
Happy Sunrise Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Heaven Rocks is half American and half an Aussie. This would account for his unruly behaviour. ? 1 Quote
Brodie Posted June 5, 2018 Author Posted June 5, 2018 If he was bred in Oz then if he does go great does not give any credibility at all to NZ horses,! Seems a bit unfair I would’ve thought seem he raced in NZ predominately and crap in OZ Quote
Basil Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 It's actually very simple — the letter after the horse name indicates where the horse was bred. HR was bred in Oz, so he's 'HR A'. As for 'fairness', there are any number of US-based horses that previously raced in Oz using the N modifier because they were bred in NZ. 1 Quote
