Shad Posted October 26, 2020 Share Posted October 26, 2020 Racing looked good down there, only collect I got was on choice de jeu in the last, was a little short changed on the fixed odds at 8.50 v over 10s the tote, was well beaten but put up a gutsy run, when looking beaten. Shad Posted October 27, 2020 Share Posted October 27, 2020 Went to riverton cup 2yrs ago quite a good day out, had a good look around including closed tracks Wyndham, Winton, shame to be fair, had a look at gore, and invercargill, nice area down there and certainly enjoyed the brief stay, interesting their January date, I would think it will be well patronized. Fof the last few years the Waikouaiti new years day meeting has been struggling for numbers,very few southerners went anyway and to Omakau 2 days later either so in reality this will be their first meeting since boxing day,will be interesting to see how it goes,Waikouaiti still race but 2 weeks later at Wingatui,should have better numbers so that will be interesting as well.
