The Centaur Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 The last time Daytona Red had won a race was the last time Lydia Ko had won on the LPGA. Now what do they do with Daytona Red. This is a horse that actually lengthens stride near the finish of a long distance race. The NZ cup would seem a moral however there seems to be an abundance of 3000m races in Victoria which should be easy pickings even against the ex European horses. Quote

The horse I feel has an attitude problem. Puts in some days and not others. Probably could benefit from a gallop over the steeples on the Ellerslie Hill. Quote

Chief Stipe Posted April 19, 2021 Posted April 19, 2021 Actually I take back what I said about Daytona Red. I gave up watching him a while ago and didn't look at his recent runs. Change of stable and BLINKERS REMOVED!!!! Still he has looked weak on softer tracks. Quote

The great change of stable and to a smaller one to , amazing what it can do for a horse , also not being just a number in a barn . I know i would get bored . Quote
