Will a Jockey ride more than one winner Everest Day at Royal Randwick 2021?

James McDonald might be lucky to win one today!  Soft 7 track.

He rides:

Race 1 - Arapaho $15 best price (TAB NZ $17)
Race 2 - no ride
Race 3 - Ahead Start - $2.90 fav (TAB NZ $2.70)
Race 4 - Fangirl - $3.45 fav - drawn 1 which won't help on a S7 (TAB NZ $3.20)
Race 5 - Spiranac $7.60 (TAB NZ $7)
Race 6 - Signore Fox $6.50 (TAB NZ $5.50)
Race 7 - Nature Strip $3.90 loose fav (TAB NZ $3.80)
Race 8 - Shared Ambition $6 (TAB NZ $5.50)
Race 9 - no ride
Race 10 - Suave $10 - another drawn 1 and being on the inside this late in the day won't be an advantage. (TAB NZ $9)

Randwick cuts out as bad as Riccarton on a firm day.

I'm sure you will end up being disappointed.

Well he might well be lucky but it looks like a tough day at the office for all today at Randwick.  That track can get tricky when a Soft 7.

Jason Collett might have a good day.

JMac's best chance is probably Nature Strip - drawn well for the conditions and doesn't mind a wet track.  But it will be tough.

R3 looks his best chance and priced appropriately.

I like his ride in R1 , but tough day for everyone .

His horse in the first has shortened from 13 to 9s , good distance and wet track stats and went good first up oin a stronger race .

Same name as one of my favourite Harness Horses of all time!

Been that way for along while.

That's why i gave away training them , bad enough trying to get a decent track rider , but then you get to the races and have to put up someone that just doesn't care .

She has a future , but honestly we have so many senior riders that are looking after themselves in races , some just look plain scared to do anything .

Geez Leighton was brave on Ila Jay!!!!  You have to be to go between the fence and Johnson, McNab and Riddell!

I have backed the winner , there is a protest 2 v1 , winner never contacted the 2nd horse but i bet it loses it , should never lose a race with no contact . if a horse wants to move away that's it's problem , 2nd rider should have kept straight then you have weight to the argument .

Nice ride by Damian Lane on Daisies...posted and used his initiative to go around and lead.

Bit like  races where jockeys try and restrain their mounts...I like the old Darryl Bradley method...take off before the turn.

Being an armchair critic is so easy I guess.

Would not be a hope of succeeding in Oz.
