The Auckland double header

I have to confess to being totally baffled as to the logic behind this weekends 2 Auckland meetings.

The Auckland cup used to be New Year's Day, then it moved to midweek in March, now it's on a Sunday in March.

I know I am slow, but where's it headed next? What's the reasoning behind all the moves?

You wouldn't even want to try to work out the logic behind it all Luwig, it will just do your head in.

I suspect what they are trying to do is hide the Auckland Cup as much as possible so it doesn't get down graded any further..

Probably something to do with the sales, everything seems to revolve around them these days.
