Ludwig
Just curious at the use of "remote stewards " at harness meetings. I notice today at Winton that Shane Renault was remote. Why? What do they do? Are they remote because they have COVID? Or being socially ostracized. What's going on?

It's been more than 3 months in the case of Renault so it's probably not covid. He may have failed to adequately sterilize the sixpences for the Christmas Pudd. Brodie
Probably a cost saving measure! Nlthing personal however, The stewards are not really required as what they do is pretty useless, with so many poor decisions in recent years! They tell us what horses gallop, dont get a run and a driver doesnt use the whip correctly. Buggerall enquiries nowadays just because they dont want the hassle!!! To be fair, many people could do just as well from their armchair!!!!
