I did watch Weigh In this week for the first time in many months, if not years. A refreshing piece of quality racing journalism that I haven't seen the likes of in any New Zealand media in yonks.

Give Luke Radich a permanent spot on Weigh In and the ratings will go through the roof.  His rants were right on the money this week. He is intelligent and forthright and unlike Guerin has no fawning allegiance to one stable.

But it didn't become a Mega-department until Winston's new Racing Act came into force.  The new RIB starting June 2021.

So did I. That Act abolished the RIU and established the RIB in its place.
