I'd love to see it return to former glories but look at Saturday - Manawatu Steeple 6 noms, Hurdle 7 noms. 

These fools campaigning the sport have contributed to its demise and want everyone to believe its as wonderful as it once was .... huh!

Should pick up now the weather is turning,been hard to get mileage into them. Was 60 horses go around at Levin Point to point last week and been a fair few schooling at other places as well.

Rider situation still less than ideal though, that is going to be jumpings biggest problem going forward, bad enough on the flat.

NZTR have now ramped up their marketing.  A function that was shifted to them from the revamp of TAB NZ.  

Interesting this campaign focussed on Jumps culminating in the Riccarton Grand National.

I'm not sure referring to Tweed, Tartan and Trilbys is targeting the right market.  How many people know what a trilby is?

True but a staggering number of 7 horses went round at the Cambridge jumps trials on Monday.
