Chief Stipe
Are you Greyhound guys happy to have only 3 tracks to race on?
Hard Times
Well not really, obviously. Where do you get this information from?
Chief Stipe
Page 73 of Messara's Report. It is inferred that was stated by GRNZ.
Hard Times
Bloody hell you're not wrong.. Spanner in the works for many will probably suit the big guys though. I guess once the Aussies take over NZ racing will get less racing opportunities anyway.
Rangatira
taken from grnz.co.nz We would like to address one piece of information that appears on pg.73 of the report, that “Greyhound racing is proposing to reduce their number of venues from 7 to 3 after 10 years.” We believe that Mr Messara may have been referencing discussions and industry submissions that took place as part of the Future Venue Plan process that looked at a variety of possible futures. We can however clarify that GRNZ does not have a plan to reduce the number of greyhound venues from 7 to 3.
BitofaLegend
yes, 3 tracks would have been very bad IMO. Every region needs atleast one two turn and one one turn track imo
