But FFS, what the hell is wrong with Joe, still in front trying to win, yet other jockeys pulled up??? Did he not see or hear the men on the white horses saying to pull up? God, NZ racing is getting worse each week, it’s a joke

Doesn't the stipe in charge press a red button?.......that activates a series of flashing red lights in the back straight warning jocks to pull up, or is that technology too expensive for NZ?.......ffs........they're there in case the men on white horses are busy with an incident in the home straight or around the bend.........hey Sharrock, call the electricians.

Joe must have thought the horse behind him was still trying to win, so I may as well keep going too? Sadly, that was the riderless horse behind him🤭.

I'm a bit disappointed that everyone seems to have forgotten that Temyia won the previous race and spoke very well when interviewed afterwards. She seemed like a very nice young lady and I have always thought she was a very competent rider. After what happened a few days earlier we should be showing some sympathy for her rather than going off on some unnecessary tangent.
