Gammalite
Once again proving to be a race for the very best. Thought the Interdominion Winner was going to win it for a second there. (I Cast No Shadow an ex-pat kiwi a great 2nd) But the Interdominon 4th placegetter Honolua Bay , going like Cardigan Bay , takes the win for the Emma Stewart powerhouse stable. ( now surpassed McCarthy's) Old Town Road a brilliant 3rd with a big drive looking for the win a lap out too. what an effort !! great horse.

Old town road is clearly the best in NZ now.huge huge run driven rough to win race but not in its best pattern.another huge collect with Grimson in a major 60/1 win 9/1 place.these two horses would of won if the winner had to come around instead of that shitty sprint lane.he can thank jack and team has been McCarthy dumb ass drive.ive seen enough of jack he ain't a good driver...

Mate you should try and enjoy some good solid racing. why hand up to Copy That and have a 'funeral procession' like they had at Ballarat. ? Park him out and see how good he is .? Spirit of St Louis had every 'right' to lead when drawn 1 if he wanted. Orange made the mistake. clearly 😉🍟 Also the winner Honolua Bay did in fact come around them down the back stright , and then dropped to the sprint lane for the run in with a 10/10 drive from Moran. Big race win from a big race drive. excellent stuff 🏆. you are correct in saying Jack Callaghan is not a good driver. He is in fact an Excellent driver. just 21 years old and won Group 1's already and about 400 races. so Already driving in top stables, on top horses, while still a youngster , the same as Cam Hart. 1
Blackie
Agree with you Gamma. Its up to someone to take the track off you if you are leading. You either accept the challenge or you don’t.

Yes, Gamma it was good to see. Copy That is not the same horse if he has to do a lot of work. Once again the horse suffers a bleed when he doesn't get a soft lead and dictating terms. Make him work he will fold...

I backed Cast No Shadow because of the price $21 here Gamma!!!! He was drawn to win. I thought I had it won but Honolua Bay gutted it out. There were some great performances in that race. Copy That poor when has to work... What about Captain Ravishing. WTF???? Did you see him smash them in Race 3, mate? Wow!!! Heza A Sun Of Agun is a top horse and he couldn't keep up, none of the field could. Is he a freak?

(as did ok Interdominion with it lol) $10 place and was about 50-1 to win here. Grimson horses seem to go ok lol.... nations best stable took the win though. Good to see them win a feature G1. They'll win plenty of those with the Captain too !! Captain Ravishing paid $1.01 last night. can't get any faster than that ? 😂 1

That's your opinion which is ok by me.i believe that jack didn't finish in the best possible position due to him wanting to beat copy that.jack beat himself and Blair.he was on a sit sprinter not a leader that can do a ton of work.so yes I believe it was a bad drive and there are tons better drivers than him he's just lucky he drives for team McCarthy

I think Jack doing very well for a 21 year old though . Team McCarthy wouldn't put him on if no good. But then again Team Allstars put Olivia on some of them as you say and she's pretty green yet and not real strong it seems to me. will get more beat like cox does than win like Williams did once. Jack would of been driving to Instructions mate . you know that . being involved in gallops and all . (jockeys always get instructions ) they would of told him keep Copy That, Mach Dan or anyone else parked and take your chances in front. I would of told him that myself. 8/ 10 drive because he didn't win it after 😂😂 can't win em all . great race though !!!! top 6 were 2 of Emma Stewarts , 1 x Grimson, 2 x McCarthy ( the 3 best Australia stables) and in amongst them was Old Town Road for Nz . did you like Zac's drive on him ?????

I agree jack has done well and can do alot better in the future.its just my pet hate that drivers beat other horses at there own expense.you see it most in oz.carter copped it on jack trainers horse on Saturday where the horse that would not let him lead finished well back certainly costing Carter a win.on Olivia Thornley she has got better from her bad start so there is hope and is in the right stable for it.they taught Tim to be one of the best and he must of learned from his errors
