I haven't seen anyone mention Solidify's run in the J.J.Atkins. He did look very unlucky. Seemed to be full of running. "All dressed up with nowhere to go" as a famous commentator might have said.

Impossible to know how he would have gone with a clear run, but he would certainly have been much closer than 11th.

I noticed Rogie announcing that young Ryan was the equal of J.Mac, and other high flyers.....hard to imagine James getting himself in such a tight situation.

I did think the same myself. Always looks good when a Rough Habit or Legarto ride comes off, but sometimes it is best to take chance out of the equation.

Even the best have been known to get it wrong from time to time, and there a fairly competitive bunch over there.
