globederby12
I did a double take tonight looking through the fields at Addington. In race 10 there is a horse called Itsthefinalcountdown. A 5 yr old by Sokys Atom. I have looked at his progeny produced and apart from one 8yr old ,one has to go back about 15 yrs to find a horse racing by this prolific sire. Most go back 20 or 30 yrs. Probably the equivalent of a 150 yr old siring a child. Unbelievable .

I don’t know when Soky Atom died but the mare must have been served with frozen semen, possibly preserved for some years after he went to that great race track in the sky.
